Pfeiffer Director Process Technology Dr Woywadt receives the Global Slag „personality of the year“ award
Gebr. Pfeiffer again took part in this year’s Global Slag Conference and Exhibition. The conference took place in Düsseldorf from May 18 to 19, 2017. Pfeiffer, represented by four staff members, had its own exhibition stand and gave a presentation.
The Global Slag Awards were presented at the gala dinner on the evening of the first conference day. Gebr. Pfeiffer has been successful for the second time. After the innovative MVR technology award in 2011, this year’s Personality Award went to Kaiserslautern – to Dr Caroline Woywadt, Pfeiffer Director Process Technology.
After finishing her PhD in the field of comminution at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany, Dr Woywadt had held various positions in the cement sector for more than a decade before she joined Gebr. Pfeiffer in 2011. In her capacity as Director Process Technology she is responsible for process engineering, process development, pilot mills and material characterization. Moreover, she is involved in the optimisation of existing plants.
