MVR vertical roller mill for grinding cement
First Pfeiffer MVR mill in Zimbabwe
Gebr. Pfeiffer received an order for a vertical mill type MVR 3070 C-4 for cement grinding. By using state-of-the-art and energy-saving mill technology, the end customer Holcim Zimbabwe underlines its ambition to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for the construction industry.
The mill will be installed near Harare in Manresa, northern Zimbabwe. The key factor in the award of the contract was the very good performance of MVR's mills, a large number of which have recently gone into operation on the African continent. The sophisticated maintenance concepts, modular design and short delivery time also had a positive influence in the decision.
The order will be handled by the Chinese general contractor CBMI.
Commissioning of the cement grinding plant is imminent.
